A farmer and business development service provider, Tunde Sanni is the Chairman of Tee Ess Integrated Farms (Nig.) Limited, Lagos, and is certified by the United States Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) to produce smoked fish for export to the United States of America.
As a World Bank Certified Business Development Service Provider in the Fish Farming Industry chain, Tunde has assisted in building the capacity of over 10,000 direct and indirect beneficiaries and MSMES across Nigeria in a period of three years.
A beneficiary of the World Bank supported Commercial Agric Development Project in Lagos State, Tunde, in 2014 led the team at Tee Ess Integrated Farms to break into the international market with the production of premium smoked fish, thereby securing a place on the World Bank website.
Prior to becoming a farmer, Tunde served Nigeria in various capacities for 32 years at the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) where he at a time headed the organisation's Public Relations Department and eventually retired in 2003 having attained the position of Assistant General Manager.
Tunde, a trained journalist; Public Relations Practitioner; and Publisher of Aquaculture Best Magazine, had his formal education at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, London College of Printing and the Lagos Business School of the Pan African University before setting up Tee Ess Integrated Farms with a current fish processing plant of installed capacity for one tonne per batch and 180 tonnes per annum; and creating employment for no fewer than 49 direct and indirect employees.
Babatunde Sanni is a pioneer member of the Lagos Commercial Agriculture Steering Committee and a member of Commercial Agriculture Development Association. He is also the president of Post-Harvest Commercial Fish Processors Cooperative in Lagos State.
